ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Hello! I’m Arohi Mathur and I’m the founder of Olympic Advocacy. I’m a high school student who’s very passionate about sports and social justice. I have always been fascinated by how the Olympics is not only a celebration of athletic achievement but a platform for athletes and countries to call for change. Growing up, I’ve been inspired by the stories of athletes who used their voice to fight for what they believed in unbothered by whether their teammates or country stood by them.

 

These stories showed how the power of sports can bring people together in the name of change. I created Olympic Advocacy to share this passion and give others the tools to explore, discuss and act on issues they cared about. My goal is to inspire people to live carefree of their fears and stand up for what they believe is right and use their voice the same way that athletes have to shape change. I hope this platform can ultimately achieve its goal of helping you realize the impact you can make with your voice to communities and beyond.
